The current Palestinian acts of violence are described as a normal outcome of the Israeli occupation and the frustration caused by the economic situation facing the population. No one wonders why the Tibetans don’t resort to the same tactics against the Chinese occupation, to name but one other “occupation” in our troubled world.
But how accurate is this claim? Is there something else driving these young Palestinians to throw rocks at moving vehicles, to deliberately drive a car into people standing on the pavement, to stab innocent bystanders?
Could it be that the Palestinian leadership, instead of promoting negotiations with Israel, actually encourages these acts of violence? What are Palestinians watching on their TV screens, reading in the social media including Facebook and Twitter?
Which raises the question – how do the children react to this? Could this explain why thirteen year olds want to take a knife to stab an Israeli? See what the children, some barely out of kindergarten, say on TV. and to the admiration of the interviewers.
I hope you have the time to open each of the following attachments.
See how they demonstrate that they have learnt the lesson on how to stab.
But it is not only the Palestinian leadership which is responsible for the incitement. See the proud father explain how proud he is when his young son asks him to “buy me a machine gun and a rifle, so that I will defeat Israel and the Zionists“.
Even harder to understand is the Palestinian mother who is proud that she alone, of all the mothers in the world, rejoices when her child is killed, “receives the news of her son’s Martyrdom with cries of joy“.
In the light of all the above, is it possible that the Palestinians want peace with Israel? In the next ptp I will present the results of a number of polls on this very question.
